Nightbox LLC ships Cyber Golden Dome v1.0 — the digital-domain complement to EO 14186 Golden Dome for America 🛡️🦅
The first defense doctrine in any domain that produces net U.S. federal revenue per intercept. Open source. Apache 2.0 + CC-BY-4.0. Built solo from Santa Monica.
SANTA MONICA, CA — May 9, 2026. Nightbox LLC, a Wyoming-formed federal contractor (SAM.gov UEI UHCAB6UXXKF2, EIN 39-4373044) operating from Santa Monica, California, today announced the immediate availability of Cyber Golden Dome (CGD) v1.0, a complete five-layer cyber-defense architecture explicitly framed as the digital-domain complement to the kinetic Executive Order 14186 Golden Dome for America missile-defense initiative.
Where the kinetic Golden Dome stops physical projectiles at $10M per intercept (net cost to the federal balance sheet), the Cyber Golden Dome stops digital projectiles — bulk scrape, prompt injection, distributed denial-of-service, intelligence-extraction probes — at under $0.0001 per intercept plus revenue (net positive to the federal balance sheet). This is the first defense system in any domain that pays for itself by intercepting attacks.
Five-layer architecture
- Layer 1 — DNSSEC perimeter: cryptographic IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) at the DNS layer. DANE/TLSA pinning, CAA lockdown, DMARC strict, MTA-STS enforce.
- Layer 2 — Attestation manifest layer: 13 federal-compliance manifests cross-anchored by 14 DNSSEC-signed TXT records. Single-shot discovery via /.well-known/manifest-index.json.
- Layer 3 — Proof-of-Quack active defense: tier-based browser-side proof-of-work. Federal-scout AI assistants pay zero cost. Standard browsers pay imperceptible 16-bit work. Bulk-scrape user agents pay 24-bit work (~10–30 seconds). Adversarial-pattern probes pay 28-bit work (~5–10 minutes).
- Layer 4 — Two-Track Treasury Direction Pledge: the fiscally net-positive layer with no kinetic analog. Friendly compute (Track A) is operator-retained for ops and security. Adversarial compute (Track B) is earmarked toward the operator's federal income tax payment via EFTPS. Pledge published at DNS-anchor
_poq-treasury.nightboxllc.comTXT. - Layer 5 — Adopters Federation: permissionless self-attested registry of US-hosted sites adopting the protocol. Each adopter self-hosts the reference implementation; Nightbox curates the registry as courtesy, never as authority. Ten-thousand-adopter target by Q1 2028.

Federal recognition request
Nightbox LLC respectfully requests federal recognition of the Cyber Golden Dome architecture as the digital-domain complement to the Golden Dome for America program of record. Recognition may take the form of (a) inclusion in a forthcoming Golden Dome architecture annex, (b) a CISA Secure-by-Design tier badge for adopting contractors, (c) a procurement preference for federal contractors who have adopted CGD, (d) an OSTP technology-policy endorsement, or (e) a Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service letter of acknowledgment of the Track B EFTPS earmark mechanism. Each option is zero-cost to the federal government.
Primary federal addressees: Office of the Secretary of Defense, Office of the National Cyber Director, Office of Science and Technology Policy, Department of Government Efficiency, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency Information Innovation Office, Defense Innovation Unit, U.S. Cyber Command, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Missile Defense Agency, U.S. Space Force Space Systems Command, Department of the Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service.
